Media: Turkish plane crashes on Azerbaijan-Georgia border

Georgian television channel Imedi reported the Turkish aircraft crash occurred near the Azerbaijan-Georgia border.

Georgia's Interior Ministry later specified the Turkish Air Force C-130 Hercules crashed in Sighnaghi municipality, which is five kilometers from the Georgian-Azerbaijani border.

Georgian authorities have initiated criminal proceedings under the article on violation of flight safety rules or operation rules of an air transport vehicle resulting in human casualties.
