Egypt to deliver gas to Turkey

Egypt intends to export its gas to Turkey, Trend cites Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz as saying. 

"Negotiations with the Egyptian side were successful. Turkey does not exclude the possibility of purchasing gas from Egypt," Yildiz said.

The minister said that Turkey and Egypt signed two agreements on energy cooperation. The two countries already have agreements on exploration of oil and gas in the Mediterranean.

Construction of the Pan-Arab pipeline is expected to complete by the end of this year, the minister said.
