Jeyhun Bayramov: Yerevan rejects Baku's offer to hold 3+3 format meetings

Yerevan refused to hold meetings within the 3+3 format, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.

The diplomat recalled that Azerbaijan has proposed that the 3+3 regional format be held first in Azerbaijan and then in Armenia.

"We proposed that the next meeting be held in Azerbaijan. We also stated that after the meeting in Azerbaijan, we would agree to hold the following meeting in Armenia. Unfortunately, such agreement was not reached, and the Armenian side did not give its consent," Jeyhun Bayramov said.

According to him, the Azerbaijani side believes that today a different environment exists. Now Baku sees no reason for Yerevan to reject Azerbaijan's proposal made in 2024.

"Our proposal remains valid," Jeyhun Bayramov said.
