Baku and Washington hold talks on Zangezur Corridor

Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev held a meeting with Assistant Secretary of Aviation and International Affairs for the US Department of Transportation Daniel Edwards.

Azerbaijan provided detailed information about Azerbaijan's strategic importance as a regional transport and logistics hub, multimodal corridors, and infrastructure projects.

At the same time, views were exchanged on the opening of the Zangezur corridor, the acceleration of the TRIPP project, and the restoration and modernization of the Nakhchivan railway.

Cooperation in other areas of transport, including aviation and maritime transport, as well as within international organizations, were discussed as well.
