Russian Deputy Foreign Minister holds talks with Azerbaijani diplomats in Baku

From Monday to Wednesday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin held consultations with Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov in Baku and was received by Azerbaijani Presidential Aide for Foreign Policy Hikmet Hajiyev, a statement published on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website reads.
"Following the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the CIS Heads of State Council meeting in Dushanbe on October 9, the current state and prospects of multifaceted Russian-Azerbaijani relations were discussed. Particular emphasis was placed on current issues on the bilateral agenda and plans for their implementation. The schedule of contacts for 2026, including inter-MFA consultations, was reviewed,”
