Seismic activity recorded in Caspian Sea
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSeismic activity was detected in the Caspian Sea yesterday's evening. The magnitude of the tremors was 3.1, according to the Republican Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan.
Seismologists reported the quake's hypocenter was located at a depth of 72 kilometers. No damage or injuries have been reported.
This follows seismic activity recorded in the Black Sea on December 12, where tremors were also felt along the Crimean coast.
