The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has no right to demand inspections at Iran’s damaged nuclear facilities without condemning Israel’s June attacks on the Islamic Republic first, Vice President and head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Mohammad Eslami said.

"Inspections have been carried out at facilities that have not been attacked, but what really matters is the question of the sites that did come under attack. The agency, which failed to condemn [the attacks] and has no instructions [regarding the inspection of damaged sites] has no grounds to declare its intentions to inspect," Mohammad Eslami said.

According to him, the IAEA should first of all present its instructions and protocols - if there are any - regarding the inspection of facilities that had sustained a military attack, IRNA reported.

The IAEO head noted that it’s not the time for the Agency to ask questions, now it’s the time for it to answer them.
