Azerbaijan, Oman discuss energy cooperation prospects

The head of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy met with an Omani delegation led by the Minister of Economy. The parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.

A meeting between Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Omani Economy Minister Said bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Saqri took place in Baku. The relevant statement was published by the Azerbaijani ministry on December 17.

During the meeting, Shahbazov briefed the Omani minister on ongoing projects in the production and export of renewable energy. In particular, the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor was discussed.
