Dollar surpasses 81 rubles, euro exceeds 95 rubles

 

On Friday morning, the dollar and euro are rising in price on the Russian interbank market, according to trading data.

The dollar exchange rate breached the 81-ruble mark, reaching a level not seen since November 19. By 10:33 AM Moscow time, the US currency rose by 1.63% to 81.09 rubles.

 

Simultaneously, the euro exchange rate rose above 95 rubles, its highest level since October 23. By 10:37 AM, the euro had gained 1.59%, trading at 95.063 rubles.
