Iran's foreign minister holds phone conversation with Omani counterpart

The Iranian and Omani foreign ministers have discussed the recent developments in the Middle East as well as further promotion of bilateral ties, Press TV reports.



Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his Omani counterpart Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah held a telephone conversation later on Thursday, in which the two sides exchanged views on a host of issues. 

Iran's top diplomat called for enhanced relations between Tehran and Muscat, Press TV cites IRNA. 

The two senior officials also discussed regional developments in the Middle East as well as issues of mutual interest and explored avenues to further develop strong and friendly relations between the two Muslim countries.
