Russia to expand exports to Armenia via Azerbaijan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussia is exploring options to expand the range of goods that can be supplied to Armenia via Azerbaijan, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk said.
According to him, Russia plans to export fertilizers to Armenia in addition to grain. This also concerns ensuring the return cargo transportation from Armenia to Russia.
"We are also discussing the possibility of using this route for other types of cargo, including fertilizers," Overchuk said.
The deputy PM also recalled that a train carrying Azerbaijani petroleum products arrived in Armenia a few days ago via Georgia.
