Vehicles movement restricted at Upper Lars
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaPassenger cars traffic has been resumed on the road leading to the Russian border in Georgia. Currently, it is allowed in one direction.
As of the evening of January 2, vehicle restrictions are in place at the Upper Lars checkpoint, the Georgian Roads Department informs.
Movement of the vehicles along the 79-93 km section of the Mleta-Gudauri section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international highway in the direction of the Georgian-Russian border is temporarily closed to all vehicles except of passenger cars.
