Russian and US foreign policy chiefs discuss Middle East

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton discussed the Middle East and the Palestinian intention to seek membership of the UN over the phone yesterday, ITAR-TASS reports the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying.
