Tehran blames Israel, US for unrest in Iran

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the Supreme National Security Council called on Iranian citizens to unite against the Islamic Republic of Iran's external enemies, blaming Israel and the US as the secret organizers of the unrest in the country.

Today, the Iranian leadership issued statements regarding protests and unrest in the Islamic Republic, blaming external forces, primarily Israel and the US, for the destruction and loss of life.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei expressed confidence that anti-government protesters who are destroying state symbols and setting government buildings on fire are doing so with foreign funding.
