Baku and Yerevan discussing list of goods of interest to both sides - Pashinyan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaArmenia and Azerbaijan are currently sharing lists of goods that may be of interest for mutual trade, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
"This process is ongoing. You will be informed when there are updates. Such discussions are taking place. I am aware that preliminary lists have been exchanged and are under review," Nikol Pashinyan said.
He highlighted that the Armenian government has not mandated local private companies to import Azerbaijani petroleum products, but has simply made them aware of the opportunity.
The PM noted the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is necessary for the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) transport corridor project.
"Currently, certain work processes are underway, and the demarcation process will be continued as soon as the appropriate moment arises. All this will also happen on the spot, because at least these parts of the border must be demarcated for the launch of communications and the TRIPP project," Pashinyan said.
According to the PM, the work requires a delicate approach, so currently, work is underway to prepare documents to take these subtleties into account.
