As part of a second agreement to supply petroleum products to the Armenian market, Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR dispatched another fuel train today, further developing post-conflict trade ties.

This marks the third such shipment since early December. The train, consisting of 18 tank cars carrying 980 tons of AI-92 gasoline, departed from the Bilajari station (Binagadi district of Baku) in Baku and is transiting through Georgia.

A larger shipment of 1,750 tons of AI-95 gasoline and 950 tons of diesel fuel, transported on 48 tank cars, is currently en route to Armenia.

According to the Armenian side, the deal was concluded for the supply of 7,600 tons of fuel from Azerbaijan to Armenia. Thus, the two trains have shipped almost 50% of the planned volume.

This follows the landmark December delivery of 1,200 tons of Azerbaijani AI-95 gasoline, which was the first shipment of petroleum products between the two countries in the post-Soviet era.
