Fighting between Kurds and government forces resumes in Syria

Clashes have broken out again in Syria between government forces and Kurdish militias. The fighting is taking place in the area of ​​the city of Deir Hafer, a strategic Kurdish operational center in eastern Syria.

Reports indicate government forces' fifire damaged the Umm al-Tina bridge, critical Kurdish logistics infrastructure used for refugee evacuation.

Damascus military sources stated Kurdish forces had previously attacked government positions with drones.

Let us note that recently the parties agreed on a ceasefire in Aleppo. Kurdish militias and refugees fled the city.
