Ryazan – New Year's capital of Russia 2026

Ryazan has been selected as Russia's New Year's capital for 2026. For nearly a month, the ancient city - which celebrated its 930th anniversary in 2025 - welcomed visitors from across the country.

Next year, the symbolic snowflake will be passed to the city of Vologda.
