Türkiye opposes any military operation against Iran and supports efforts to preserve regional stability, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said.

He stressed that dialogue remains the only viable path to resolving disputes, warning that any large-scale instability in Iran would exceed the region's capacity to absorb its consequences.

The Turkish FM added that Iran must address its internal problems and resolve disputes with neighboring countries.

"Our diplomatic efforts for Iran will continue, our priority is prevention of destabilization," Fidan said.

The diplomat said he hoped the U.S. and Iran would resolve the matter between themselves, either through mediators, other parties, or direct negotiations.
