Israel launches new strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon

The IDF is carrying out a series of strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, according to a statement from the IDF Spokesperson's Office.

"In response to Hezbollah's repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement, the Israel Defense Forces has begun striking Hezbollah terrorist targets in several areas of Lebanon",

the IDF reported.

The strikes follow Israel's earlier expressions of dissatisfaction in early January regarding the lack of progress in Hezbollah's disarmament process in southern Lebanon.
