Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company sets record for vehicle transport

Ferries belonging to the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) transported a record number of cars in December last year – 4,476 vehicles.

According to a company statement, this volume represents a five-year high, exceeding the previous record of 4,379 vehicles set in July 2020.

The final month of the year also saw a significant rise in activity compared to November, during which 3,243 vehicles were transported. This marks an increase of nearly 40% in monthly transport volume.
