China's goods exports to Iran decline

According to China's General Administration of Customs (GAC), Chinese-Iranian trade declined by 25.6% last year.

Total trade volume reached $9.96 billion in 2025. Chinese exports amounted to $6.93 billion (a 22.6% decrease), while imports from Iran fell 31.7% to $3.03 billion.

This continues a multi-year downward trend, following declines of 8.5% in 2024 and 6.2% in 2023.

Major Iranian exports to China include polyethylene, iron and copper ores, metals. Key Chinese exports to Iran consist of gold, textiles, automotive components, and various technical equipment.
