Turkish PM to attend UN General Assembly
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will attend the UN General Assembly in New York today, assisted by ministers, including Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, TRT reports.
The Turkish PM will express views on international affairs such as Palestine, the Middle East, Syria, Libya, Cyprus, African famine, terrorism and bilateral relations. Erdogan will also talk about the so-called Alliance of Civilizations, cooperation in security in Asia, nuclear arms, proper feeding of women and children, desertification and droughts.
Turkey will express support for initiatives to see Palestine in the UN. Erdogan is expected to return to Turkey on September 25.
