Putin to meet with Mahmoud Abbas in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Moscow tomorrow, Kremlin ‌spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Yes, I can confirm: Palestinian President Abbas will indeed be in Moscow on a working visit, and Russian-Palestinian talks will take place tomorrow," Dmitry Peskov said.

There is no information yet about the content of the upcoming meeting. It is possible that the sides may discuss 'Board of Peace' on Gaza, to which Vladimir Putin was invited by U.S. President Donald Trump.

The last time Abbas visited Russia's capital was in May 2025.
