Azerbaijan and Armenia to merge power grids - Pashinyan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAzerbaijan and Armenia will integrate their power grids, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, while taking questions from MPs about the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.
"Certainly, Armenia and Azerbaijan's power grids will be connected to each other and mutually, on equal terms, will take advantage of opportunities for electricity exports and imports," Pashinyan said.
He noted the sides are continuing diplomatic efforts aimed at further strengthening and institutionalizing peace.
Pashinyan added that diesel fuel prices in Armenia have declined by 20% following the establishment of peace with Azerbaijan.
The Armenian PM stressed that as of today there is complete peace along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
