Yerevan hosts All-Armenian Conference of Diaspora
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaYerevan has opened the All-Armenian Conference of the Diaspora at the Sports-Concert Complex named after Karen Demirchyan today to mark the 20th anniversary of independence, News.am reports.
About 500 officials from 50 states will attend the conference. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Saakyan made speeches.
The All-Armenian Catholicos, Patriarch Karekin II, and the Catholicos of the Great Kilik House, Aram I, blessed the meeting.
Gagik Arutyunyan, Vice-President of the Board of Trustees of the All-Armenian Fund Ayastan, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Director of the Institute Museum for Armenian Genocide Ayk Demoyan, head of Russia’s Armenian Union Ara Abramyan, Chairman of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Perch Sedrakyan and others will make speeches.
President Serzh Sargsyan will have an official evening with the attendees of the conference.
