Russia maintains primary position in Georgian food import market

The National Statistics Service of Georgia confirmed Russia's leading position in food exports to Georgia last year.

Russian food and beverage exports totaled $539 million, followed by Türkiye at $242 million and Ukraine at $139 million.

Furthermore, food products from Brazil, Poland, and France reach Georgian store shelves.

Georgia imported $2.2 billion in food products, raw materials, and beverages last year, representing 20% growth over 2024 levels, with primary imports comprising meat, meat by-products, and dairy products.
