Silver reaches new record high

March silver futures on COMEX, a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), soared to a record high of $96.09 per troy ounce (31.1 grams).

At 7:51 PM (Moscow time), the price of silver exceeded $96 before slightly decreasing to $95.86 by 8:00 PM Moscow time, still marking a daily gain of 3.48%.
