IDF destroys 4-kilometer tunnel in Gaza Strip

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) destroyed a 4-kilometer tunnel used by radicals in the southern Gaza Strip, with a length of up to four kilometers, the IDF Spokesperson's Office reported.

"In the southern Gaza Strip, east of the Yellow Line, work to destroy an underground tunnel, which began approximately a year ago, has been completed",

the IDF Spokesperson's Office reported.

According to the military, the tunnel contained several bunkers used for storing weapons and military equipment.

The IDF noted that its units had been deployed in the area in line with the current ceasefire terms and would continue to respond to any threats.
