All hostages returned from Gaza to Israel - IDF

Staff Sergeant Ran Gvili, who was held hostage and died in the Gaza Strip, will soon be returned to Israel for burial, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson's Office.

The identification process has been completed by the National Institute of Forensic Medicine in coordination with the Israel Police and the Military Rabbinate.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed that the family has been notified.

"The IDF expresses its deepest condolences to the family. The IDF will continue to support the families and take measures to enhance the security of the country's citizens. Thus, all hostages have been returned from the Gaza Strip to the State of Israel",
