Putin al-Sharaa to hold talks on Wednesday

The Russian President will meet with the Syrian President tomorrow. The talks will take place in the Russian capital.

On Wednesday, January 28, a meeting will take place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian Interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa, the Kremlin website informs.

The talks will be held in Moscow.

"On January 28, talks will take place between Russian President Putin and Syrian Arab Republic President Ahmed al-Sharaa, who will come to Russia on a working visit,”

– the Kremlin Press Service informed.

The previous meeting between the Russian and Syrian presidents took place in Moscow in mid-October 2025.
