US conducts aerial drills in the Middle East

US military aviation will practice deployment and dispersal tactics using small airfields as part of the Agile Spartan drills in the Middle East.

The US Ninth Air Force has begun the Agile Spartan military drills in the Middle East, the US Air Forces Central Command informs.

The exercises are planned to practice air force deployment and combat operations in the Middle East region, which is the area of ​​responsibility of US Central Command (CENTCOM).

Agile Combat Employment (ACE) tactics, which involves the use of a large number of autonomous airfields to further disperse air units, will also be executed in the framework of the drills.
