Aviation Technology Park to be created in Karachay-Cherkessia

Head of Karachay-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov and General Director of "KAVavia" Sergei Yesayan signed an agreement on the construction of an aviation industrial park on the basis of "KAVavia" at the X International Investment Forum Sochi-2011, Yuga.ru reports.

According to Rashid Temrezov, the idea of implementing this project on the territory of the republic was voiced by investors for the first time only a few months ago. However the republic has two light-aircrafts, which will be used for training specialists for the future enterprise.


The first phase of the project is expected to last one and a half years.
