New head of Armenian Central Election Commission elected

The new chairman of the Central Electoral Commission was elected today in Armenia. The post was given to Tigran Mukuchyan, News-Armenia reports.

The newly elected chairman of the Central Election Commission announced today after his election that he will put an emphasis on the practical application of the new Electoral Code.

Previously, Tigran Mukuchyan served as the head of the Appellate Administrative Court. The former chairman of the CEC Garegin Azarian died on September 10.
