Tbilisi and Washington discuss resuming relations

Georgian Government Administration Head Levan Zhorzholiani met with members of the US Congressional Committee on Foreign Affairs to discuss normalizing bilateral relations and resuming the strategic partnership between the two countries, the Georgian government's press service reported.

The meeting focused on economic issues, noting Georgia's significant economic growth and its anti-corruption measures.

Washington and Tbilisi also discussed ensuring stability in the South Caucasus region.

Previously, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili met with representatives of the US establishment, where the parties discussed the transport potential of the Middle Corridor and Georgia's particular importance in this project.
