The US is showing military activity amid rising tensions around Iran. According to media reports tracking flight data, a U.S. Air Force MC-130J Commando II aircraft landed in Tbilisi yesterday evening.

According to FlightRadar24,  the aircraft flew from the UK to Georgia, transiting through Romanian airspace, and arrived in the Georgian capital at 22:41 local time.

Neither Washington nor Tbilisi has provided an official statement regarding the flight. Bilateral defense cooperation between the two countries was limited in 2024 as part of a broader review and suspension of their strategic partnership.
