Georgian GDP grows 75 in 2025

Georgia's gross domestic product grew 7.5% year-on-year in 2025, the country's National Statistics Service said, citing preliminary data.

Economic growth in Q4 was 6.8% compared to 6.4% in Q3, 7.4% in Q2 and 9.9% in Q1 2025.

Georgia's GDP increased 7.2% YoY in December 2025.

At the end of last year, the Georgian Economy Ministry estimated GDP growth at 7.5%. In December, the official economic growth forecast used for budget purposes was raised from 6% to 7.2%.

The International Monetary Fund expected Georgia's economy to grow 7.2% last year. The World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) expected growth of 7%.

The country's National Bank forecasted GDP growth of 7.4%, and the largest Georgian investment bank, Galt & Taggart, forecasted 7.5%.

Georgia's economy grew 9.5% in 2024, 7.8% in 2023 and 10.4% in 2022.
