Georgian authorities to lower food prices by May

The government expects the efforts to lower food prices in Georgian stores to be implemented by late April.

Georgian food prices could drop in late  April, Levan Zhorzholiani, head of the government administration, says.

According to him, the relevant government commission has been in operation for two weeks. During this time, the commission's representatives held meetings with companies in the food industry, as well as with representatives of the pharmaceutical and fuel industries.
