Russia increases nut imports from Georgia

Russian-Georgian trade is growing: last year, nut exports from Georgia to Russia increased by over 36%.

Last year, nut exports from Georgia to Russia increased significantly, data published by the National Statistics Service of Georgia shows.

Over this period, Georgia exported 36.3% more nuts to Russia than in 2024, or 1,200 tons.

This is a record volume of nut exports from Georgia to Russia since 2018.

Russia ranks third in terms of exports of Georgian nuts, with 1,200 tons. Italy leads with 4,500 tons. Spain is second with 2,400 tons.
