Yandex search website reaches Turkey

Russia’s largest Internet search website Yandex has started operation in Turkey, Interfax reports.

The company launched a portal yandex.com.tr for Turkish users. Director General and co-owner of Yandex, Arkady Volozh, said at a press-conference in Istanbul that it is the first launch of the website abroad.

Turkey was chosen as one of the fastest growing Internet markets in Europe, in terms of users. There is a lot of Turkish content, Volozh said.
