Azerbaijani athlete wins silver at competition in Kazakhstan

Azerbaijani athlete Ismail Aliyev has successfully competed at an international tournament in Kazakhstan, securing second place in the shot put with a result of 16.58 metres.

According to Azerbaijani media, the competition took place in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

Aliyev claimed silver at the XI International Athletics Tournament dedicated to the memory of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova.
