Earthquake recorded in southern Türkiye

An earthquake has been recorded in southern Turkey, according to the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

The tremors, which measured 4.2 in magnitude, struck in the Kırıkhan district of Hatay province. The epicentre was located at a depth of 9.27 kilometres.

No casualties or material damage have been reported following the seismic event.
