Explosions rock Dubai again

A new series of explosions shook Dubai this morning, following a brief lull. Reuters, citing eyewitnesses, confirmed that several loud blasts were heard across the city.

"We've been receiving attack alerts all night, there were 10 for sure. My phone was ringing off the hook",

the eyewitnesses reported.

In response to the escalating situation, Dubai-based low-cost carrier Flydubai extended its flight restrictions until 2:00 PM Moscow time, according to RIA Novosti.

"Due to the situation in the region, Flydubai has suspended all flights to and from Dubai until 3:00 PM UAE time (2:00 PM Moscow time) on Sunday, March 1, 2026",

the company stated.

The airline added that the duration of the restrictions is not final and may be adjusted depending on the evolving situation in the region.
