Over 25 countries apply to Baku to evacuate citizens from Iran

More than 25 countries have applied to evacuate their citizens from Iran via Azerbaijan, head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Aykhan Hajizada said.

The evacuation process is being carried out through the Astara border customs checkpoint, APA reported.

From 08:00 (GMT+4) on February 28 through 10:00 (GMT+4) on March 3, a total of 615 people from various countries were safely evacuated to Azerbaijan. The evacuated persons include 127 Russian citizens.
