Over 260 Russians evacuated from Iran via Azerbaijan

Over 260 Russian citizens have been evacuated from Iran through Azerbaijan, as the conflict between U.S., Israel and Iran escalates, the Azerbaijani Border Service reported.

"From 08:00 (GMT+4) on February 28 through 10:00 (GMT+4) on March 5, 261 Russian citizens were evacuated from Iran through the Azerbaijani border," the statement reads.

According to Azerbaijani border guards, a total of 1,317 people from 45 countries have crossed the country's border since the beginning of the conflict.
