Russia intends to increase oil refining capacity this year

According to Anton Rubtsov, head of the Ministry's Oil and Gas Complex Department, the Russian Federation plans to increase oil refining capacity at refineries.

"We are optimistic. We expect refining volumes to increase as planned",

Anton Rubtsov said.

He also reported that Russia's fuel reserves have grown in 2026, currently standing at approximately 3 million tons of diesel fuel and around 2 million tons of gasoline.
