Earthquake shakes Caspian Sea on March 25
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAn earthquake occurred in the Caspian Sea on Wednesday, March 25, according to the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The magnitude of the tremors was 3.1. The quake was recorded at 1:57 PM local time (12:57 PM Moscow time).
The hypocenter was located at a depth of 13,000 meters.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
Several earthquakes were recorded in the Caspian Sea last week, including two on Monday and another on Wednesday.
