Pezeshkian thanks Russia for support in Persian Gulf conflict

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed gratitude to Russia for its support during the ongoing Middle East conflict, delivering his message in Russian.

"President Putin's messages and the support of the Russian people inspire us in this war. On behalf of the people of Iran, I thank the government and people of Russia",

Pezeshkian said.

Moscow has repeatedly called for de-escalation and a diplomatic resolution to the conflict and has sent humanitarian aid to Iran.
