IRGC destroys US E-3 aircraft at Saudi air base

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) destroyed a US E-3 airborne early warning aircraft in a strike on the US Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, the IRGC press service reported, adding that other aircraft were also damaged.

The E-3 serves as an airborne command center coordinating air force operations. Its destruction could disrupt US military coordination in the region.

The US military command has not yet confirmed the loss of the aircraft.
