Persian Gulf states are Russia's friends - Kremlin

Russia sees Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations as good friends and would like to boost cooperation with them, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations are our good partners and our good friends," Dmitry Peskov said.

The spokesman stressed that they are among the countries Russia would like to develop bilateral cooperation with, TASS reported.

"We would continue like this because we value our relations with them," Dmitry Peskov said.
